I am and will forever be an old soul, a twenty something going on 60 something, and thats just the way I like it. I love Christmas, can throw down on some pasta, and live for the bath and body works candle sale. What can I say, I'm a woman with specific tastes.

The Golden Field Engagement Session of Her Dreams

Engagement

July 2, 2021

back to blog

East Tennessee is funny. One day the weather is doom and gloom, the next its the prettiest day you’ve ever seen. And thats just how we tend to like it. Its wild and unpredictable, like a fully white Christmas for the first time ever in 2020 to the mildest May and. June we’ve seen in years. Cue the shrugs.

So my sweet bride, Tanya, wanted a dreamy golden field for her engagement photos. One problem- fields aren’t usually super golden in May. In fact, at the time of her session, most had been cut for the first time. I told her we’d see what we could do, but not to get her hopes too high for it.

WOULDN’T. YOU. KNOW. IT.
Her session started out a little darker than we like, kinda gloomy, and then the clouds parted and gave us the most beautiful golden hour, stretching far and wide across the just long enough field before us, give her literally exactly what she’d hoped for.

And that, my friends, is the magic of East Tennessee. <3
