I am and will forever be an old soul, a twenty something going on 60 something, and thats just the way I like it. I love Christmas, can throw down on some pasta, and live for the bath and body works candle sale. What can I say, I'm a woman with specific tastes.

Tennessee Mountain Top Wedding at The Magnolia Venue

Wedding

May 31, 2019

back to blog

Would you believe me if I told you this wedding at the magnolia venue was thrown together in around a month?

YUP.

Erica and Darin put their trust into their all-star vendors and y’all, it paid off. When Lindsey with Custom Love Gifts and Events asked if we were available for a kinda last minute wedding, we said hell yes because if we’ve figured out anything about our “ideal” couple, its that they’re relaxed. And nothing says relaxed like planning a wedding in a month. On the day of the wedding, we walked in expecting Erica to be super stressed, but that wasn’t the case at all. She was calm, cool, and collected, asking us to remind her when she needed to be done with hair and makeup and what time she should slip into her first dress (because yes, she had two and they were both AHHMAZING.) This couple placed total trust in us. Trust is so intregal to an incredible wedding day. I think I speak for all vendors when I say that a client who trusts you completely and totally shifts the mood of the entire day. Raining? Trust your vendors. Things not falling into place? Trust your vendors. Y’all, if you can’t trust the people you’re picking to work for you on your wedding day, you’re picking the wrong people.

Here are our top tips for planning a wedding in a short time frame

-Hire people you not only mesh with, but that you trust.

-Hire a planner.

-Be flexible.

-Just roll with it.
