This wedding isn’t for the faint at heart. Its drop dead GORGEOUS. From the details to the location to the people themselves, oh mama, its a good one.
Sloan and Christian met over 10 years ago in school, and very quickly became inseparable. Having known them as long as they’ve known each other, I can say that everyone knew pretty early on that this was it. They’d found their soulmates in one another. So this day, this wedding, was a long time coming.
Our Favorite Part
Christian and Sloan chose to do a first touch with one another. During it, Sloan asked Christian if he’d like to say a prayer and he said yes. In his prayer, he said “Lord, let me always remember what a gift Sloan is, and let me always treat her the way I’d want my mama and sister to be treated.” MY HEART! Brit, I know thats got to make your mama heart smile.
The Barn at Faith Farms
The Barn at Faith Farms is located in Athens, TN, just about 45 minutes from Knoxville proper. This wedding venue has it all, including a bridal cottage, a groom house, multiple ceremony locations, lots of picturesque land, and a pavilion and barn! I very clearly loved the bridal cottage (see below, I never wanted to leave) but we also love that they include another getting ready space as well! So often the groom is shoved in a closet somewhere, so we love when venues consider that!
Sloan and Christian, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day! We can’t say enough about how precious you both are to us and how much we loved getting to celebrate with your sweet family all day long. Wishing you an entire lifetime and a half of love, togetherness, and joy!
